My girlfriend Sally stopped by Singapore on her way to London - for her own exchange program.  Though she was only here for 5 days we still managed to fit in a lot, while I relished in the chance to speak my native Australian tongue.  On this night we walked along the Boat Quay stretch in search of dinner.  Having her here was a breath of fresh air.  It'd had been almost 2 months since I'd set up camp in Singers, and I had just overcome a stage of 'what the fuck am I doing here?'  Sally quickly pointed out that the city was damn impressive sight to see (from a tourist's point of view), and I had to agree.
